Dr. Marilyn Wienand, harpist
Marilyn has always been a musician (singer, organist, pianist) but in 1990 she fell in love with the harp and has made it her musical focus since that time.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in Organ, a Masters and Doctorate in Voice, and has taught music on the college level for many years. She has been a organist and Choirmaster of several churches.
Marilyn performs widely in North Carolina with church orchestras, for weddings, receptions, parties and other events. Playing the harp professionally is a great joy to her and is a major part of her life. She especially enjoys adding elegance and sacred space through harp
music for weddings.
Dear
Marilyn,
I just wanted to Thank You again for sharing your wonderful
music with us Friday night. Your harp playing was truly amazing
and it added just the right touch for our rehearsal dinner.
It was very nice meeting you. Hope we can listen to you play
sometime in the future.

"The harp and flute combination has become one of my favorites for weddings, receptions, and special events. Both instruments have an elegant look and classical sound which adds a special touch. I am so honored to work with Marilyn and to attend so many beautiful ceremonies." --Kimberly Allemang
